What we collect

Account: your name, email address and Google account ID when you sign in with Google.

Profile: your display name, the app categories and languages you choose, and your onboarding answers.

Testing activity: which apps you test, when you start and finish, and the total time you spent in each app you test.

Feedback: the notes, ratings and bug reports you write, with your device model and Android version.

Listings: the name, package name and test instructions of apps you list.

Community: your Sparks history, crew membership and daily check-ins, plus any reports and blocks you make.

Usage Access

If you allow Usage Access, Dozenship reads how long the app you are testing was open, using Android's usage records on your phone.

We only look at the app being tested, only while a test or check-in is running. We don't read what you do inside apps, and we don't collect a list of your other apps.

Only the total testing time is sent to our servers, to confirm the test. You can turn Usage Access off at any time in Android settings.

How we use it

To run the service: show apps to test, verify testing time, award Sparks, run crews and show feedback to developers.

To keep the community fair and safe: detect fake testing, act on reports and enforce the Terms of Use.

We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we don't use your data for advertising.

Who can see what

Other users see your display name, the apps you list and your crew activity.

Feedback you write is shown to the developer of the app you tested.

Your email address is never shown to other users.

Service providers

Supabase hosts our database and handles sign-in. Google provides Google sign-in. They process data only to provide these services to us.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Access to your data is limited by database rules so people only see what they are meant to see.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data while your account is open.

You can delete your account in the app (Profile, Delete my account) or on our website's account deletion page. This deletes your account, profile, tests, feedback, listings, Sparks and crew history.

Copies in backups are removed within 30 days. Reports you made about other people may be kept, without your identity, to keep the community safe.

Children

Dozenship is for adults aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
